Eternal God, my Refuge

This is based on a verse from Deuteronomy (33:27)
"Eternal God, my Refuge"
‘Tis all about, this storm I see,
the wind and waves around me be,
In all of this I run to Thee;
The Eternal God, my refuge.
I am compassed round about
with dread enemies and doubt,
I’ll trust in Thee to draw me out;
The Eternal God, my refuge.

Wrapped in Satan’s chains I lay,
preparing for my sins to pay,
then Thou didst turn my night to day;
The Eternal God, my refuge.

I saw my Saviour on the tree,
and read He suffered there for me,
O Christ my sin was laid on Thee!
The Eternal God, my refuge.
