O my soul, sing of Him
Who died upon the Tree!
Who took Thy sin upon His back
and from them set thee free.
Lifeless, hopeless thou didst lay
deep in the grave of sin and woe;
“Come Forth!” He cried out unto thee
then loosed thee; let thee go.
Now thou sittest at His feet
His every Word to hear.
Ye Who were once far off
are by His Blood made near.
